If you wish to delete your Smart Notebook account and all associated data, you have two options:
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
Step 1: Open the Smart Notebook app.
Step 2: Go to Settings (gear icon in the sidebar).
Step 3: Scroll to Account & Data.
Step 4: Tap Delete Account and confirm.
⚠️
Important: This action is irreversible. The following data will be permanently
deleted:
- All your notes and notebooks
- AI-generated summaries and tags
- Synced data across all devices
- Personal preferences and settings
- All profile and account information
Option 2: Contact Support
If you cannot access the app, email us at support@twotypestudioapp.com with the subject line
"Delete My Account — Smart Notebook". We will process your request within 7 business
days.
Exporting Your Data Before Deletion
We recommend exporting your notes before deleting your account:
- Go to Settings → Export Data → Choose format (Markdown, PDF, or Plain Text)
- Your notes will be saved to your device's storage
Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Cancel
separately:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Smart Notebook → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Smart Notebook → Cancel
